Hi Richard I like this set up it looks good, I would like to see a bigger motor for the boat to push it at 14 or 15 mph But it will do if has to be slower

I like the the sounds of saving money I would buy direct. and drive to cali too pick it up, I think 50000 would be a good price for a fully loaded 33 foot sailboat motor, sails, trailer, I was going to buy a mac after the first of the year but now i think i will hold off a little longger and see wha...

well thankyou all for the input, That put my mine to ease, I was worried that it was not going to sail good but 4 to 7 kt is good enough for me, I have been looking at the use boats forsale here on the sight and i think you guys are wright on buying a use one Thanks alot........Gravy 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) ...

I am looking at a mac because of price I am married lol and the trailer and motor part. But I read that they are not good sailer that is y i am asking I want to know as much as i can before i buy so i am asking for all the info i can get thanks..........

The reason I am asking I want to buy a mac 26 x or m after the new year and what is the differents from the x and m is there 6 ft headroom on the x and how does it sail.Thanks..........

So why is the mac 26 x or m not a good sailer
I know it doesent have a keel< but how slow is it.Will it sail 6 or 7 n, In the video it looks to sail fast, So give me some input Please. I know it has a trailer and a big motor to go when i need it but how does it sail. The good and the bad.....

Thankyou for all the replys. I have learn something i thought it was a good idea but found out different, It makes sence smooth is the way to go. Rino liner would make it almost bullet prouff for the bottom if you hit something and that sounded good but dont want to slow the boat down.... Thanx........

I dont know that is why i am asking. I just thought that if the surfuse was rough insted of smooth that there would be less drag less friction and and the boat would go faster.

what i want to know is will it hurt the performance . I know rino lining is tuff and it would make the boat easier to clean the bottom when washing

How would it chip off, I have in the bed of pickup and loaded alot of a gravel and rock in there and it is tuff, I dont know how it would slow the boat down racing boats go faster with air going under the boat....
